Sign War

12Foot6 signage was randomly removed from our ancestral home today in a building rebranding. Apparently we are now part of ORB International. Not!!! We have now rebranded back. If you’re in and around Holborn, come down and play spot the logo.

Two more 12Foot6 beauties.
Kim and Andrew in their true cartoon form. Wow.
Enough said.

Our resident band (not really it’s John’s band) The Invisible Gentry are playing live Friday 25th May.
The big gig is at The Ballyhoo, on New Oxford Street, and we’d love to see you all there!
There is an ‘Early Bird List’ where if you turn up before 8pm you get in for £6 instead of £8..
It’s a great venue and they will be playing a few new & unheard songs.Muchos Love!

Yes. We are cartoon characters!

It will come as no surprise to anyone who’s ever met/worked/eaten/got drunk with us that everyone here possesses a cartoon like quality. Barry has now articulated this in illustration form. So it’s only fair to reveal him first. And Asa.
More will follow very soon and in June we will release the first animation of 12Foot6 speaks. Better watch out.
Thank you, Barry.

here are some Joey alibi t-shirt winners:

A: It wasn’t Joey, he was welcoming people to Coventry (Simone, Brussels.)
B: It wasn’t Joey, he was relaxing near a police station (Anna, Acton.)
C: It wasn’t Joey, he was as school with his little brothers (Tom, North London.)
D: It wasn’t Joey, he was 31,000 feet over Europe (Steven, Cheltenham.)

“You see me as a bowl of cherries?”

Roy learns some tough lessons about the mafia when he asks Joey Gagglio to do the dishes.

As well as being the voice of Joey Gagglio, Joey Pantoliano has won an Emmy as Ralphy in the Sopranos, and has starred in loads of other good stuff including: The Matrix, The Goonies, Risky Business, La Bamba, Empire of the Sun, The Fugitive, Memento, Bad Boys and Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and lots more. So there.

Thank you for staying Dog Judo!

“JOEY NEEDS AN ALIBI”

He’s an angry New York Mobster Pug with nothing nice to say about anyone

or anything. He spits and swears and speaks too loudly. He doesn’t do the

dishes when it’s his turn. And perhaps most importantly, he is abusing the

integrity of the Judo Exchange Program.

But… he needs your help (and expects your help because he’s an angry New

York Mobster Pug.) All you have to do is download and cut out Joey’s face

and pose anywhere and everywhere with it to give him that all important alibi.

Download it from here now.

Then send pictures to Roy@dogjudo.com. The best entries will go up on

the Dog Judo Site and Facebook pages. We’ll be giving away lots of limited

edition Joey Gagglio t-shirts to those coming up with the most inventive alibis.

Fu’d (Fu on Food)

The Betsey Trotwood is a place we sometimes go that we quite like.

They don’t do Amstel, and the San Miguel was a bit flat but the Asahi was nice enough.

Today, the steak was small and gristly. Every mouthful had a bit of gristle in. And it was well done when I asked for it rare…

…can’t remember. There was loads… it’s all gone.

The chips when you order a hamburger arrive on wood, which ruins all the salt and vinegar activity. The vinegar gets all soaked up and you lose vinegar-control. I didn’t have to deal with this personally, but my mate Andrew who loves vinegar on his chips did.

I did eat it all because I’m off the Co-Codomol… even though it was incorrect.

Usually it’s good in the Betsey Trotwood. I did hear that I had the last steak, so maybe that had something to do with it.

The waitress was good.

We did end up in the Bountiful Cow after work, just to make up for the steak problems.

Sorry about the rubbishness of the review but we got drunk and haven’t been sober until today so I’ve forgotten most of it.

More soon.

Fu.

Congrats to the wonderful Åsa & Kim for running the London Marathon this Saturday!

Dressed as Where’s Wally to be easier to spot - something that was appreciated mainly by little kids & drunken blokes on the sidelines here’s what they had to say…

“It was an absolutley amazing day, a fantastic atmosphere with the crowds really helping to motivate us along. We spotted some amazing costumes - as well as the yearly impressive Rhinos & army lads with massive backpacks, some of the more unique folk we ran alongside at times were a 12 foot metal tower, Big Ben, a two-hump camel, a four person caterpillar, a brother & sister on stilts, a barefoot judo suited pair, a drag lad as Freddie Mercury with his hoover from “I want to break free” with hoover & all (though it confiscated at the start) & a shopping trolley lady.  We ran all the way (apart from a toilet stop off at a pub where supporters on a mic announced our entry & exit from the race to the crowds - Where are the Wally’s going? / “Here’s come the Wally’s back again”  We even managed a sprint finish & are walking today though stiffly - with a bit of a duck waddle, but still on an endorphin high!”

Their running times an impressive …

Åsa runner number 46514  time: 4 hours 45 minutes 23 seconds
Kim runner number 46513 time: 4 hours 45 minutes 24 seconds

Now we’re wondering will they do it all again?

Just look at how much fun we had!

Next Bar Shorts presented by Chris Shepherd is soon - so watch this space!
