Thank you Manchester for having us over!

We had a swell time at Band on the Wall who looked after us brilliantly. We’d like to also thank the amazingly talented filmmakers for letting us show their shorts. High fives go to,  Vicky MatherLucy IzzardMonika ForsbergPhil MulloyTom JenningAsa Lucander, David Shrigley, Dog Judo and of course Bar Shorts co-curator and compare Chris Shepherd’s. We had the pleasure of showing some funny stings created by second year students of Salford University organised by Robert Shadbolt. All this was nicely blended with a DJ set from local legend Stanley Chow and plenty of beer!

Thank you all and we’ll be back!

Bar Shorts

dcastrogiovanni:

Before having to dash off to rescue the babysitter from a constant-crying-child, I was having a blast last night… Good films, just the right length of viewings inbetween drinking some seriously nice local ale and Stan Chow layin down sum wikkid beets man… Could have done with a bit less craic though, but you know what the scousers are like when you give ‘em a platform…

Jolly good stuff.

Here’s hoping it becomes a regular thing here oop norf lark.

A wee bit of Bar Shorts love here! Glad you liked what you saw… we’ll definitely be back! :D
